Southeast Cleantech Open Teams Deliver Clean Energy Innovations from Energy Generation to Advanced Materials & Chemicals. Florida, North Carolina and Tennessee Startups Sweep CategoryAwards in World’s Largest Cleantech Accelerator
About a year ago, Cleantech Open Southeast Region leaders tapped me to help the organization expand its presence to North Carolina. As an entrepreneur myself, I was happy to take on that challenge, as a Cleantech Open Ambassador for North Carolina, so I can showcase our incredibly strong and vibrant startup community at regional level. Plus, I really wanted to have NC winner in 2013, to beat all DC area startups. On Friday, as I was tallying the scores with my steering committee colleagues, I was getting more and more excited to see the numbers. End result, all NC startups were in top 3!
With this strong NC showing, 2014 will be even better as we all continue to work on building strong entrepreneurial ecosystem in NC.
